Praised for her “sparkling soprano” and commanding stage presence (Greater Lansing Ubiquitous Theatre), coloratura soprano Catherine Goode returns to Virginia Opera and joins Kentucky Opera in the 2021-2022 season. Previously, Catherine has appeared in young artist programs with Merola Opera Program (2021), Opera Columbus (2019-2020), Des Moines Metro Opera (2018, 2019), and Virginia Opera (2018-2019).

Kentucky Opera

2021-2022

Catherine joins Kentucky Opera once again as a member of the Barbara and Halsey Sandford Studio Artist Program for the 2021-2022 season. Performances include a role and house debut as Amore (Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice).

Virginia Opera

2021-2022

Catherine returns to Virginia Opera in the 2021-2022 season, making role debuts as Woglinde (Das Rheingold), Kenzie (Earth to Kenzie - film), Musetta (La bohème - cover), and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro - Susanna cover).

Central City Opera

Summer 2022

Catherine makes her Central City Opera debut as an Apprentice Artist, singing Krysia in Heggie's Two Remain and Adele (family performance and cover) in Die Fledermaus.
