About Catherine

Praised for her “sparkling soprano” (Greater Lansing Ubiquitous Theatre) and "charming" and "delicious interpretation" (Arts Louisville), coloratura soprano Catherine Goode joins Central City Opera and Salt Marsh Opera and returns to Kentucky Opera in the 2022-2023 season. Previously, Catherine has appeared with Opera in the Heights and in young artist programs with Merola Opera Program (2021), Opera Columbus (2019-2020), Des Moines Metro Opera (2018, 2019), Virginia Opera (2018-2019).

Touch

January 2024

Catherine makes her Opera Birminghan debut this coming spring. She simultaneously makes her role debut as Helen's Voice in the world premiere production of Touch by Carla Lucero and Marianna Mott Newirth.

The Light in the Piazza

February 2024

Catherine returns to Opera in the Heights to make her role debut as Clara. This will be Catherine's first professional leading role in a musical theatre work.
