About Catherine

Praised for her “silvery bright soprano” (Houston Press) and "delicious interpretation" (Arts Louisville), coloratura soprano Catherine Goode has an affinity for new music as well as the standard repertoire. This season, she originates the role of Madam Alice Tairik in Working for the Macbeths by Johanny Navarro and Marcus Yi. Previously, Catherine has appeared with Salt Marsh Opera in young artist programs with Merola Opera Program, Central City Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Virginia Opera, Kentucky Opera, and Opera Columbus.
