Praised for her “sparkling soprano” and commanding stage presence (Greater Lansing Ubiquitous Theatre), coloratura soprano Catherine Goode joins the Merola Opera Program, Opera in the Heights, and Kentucky Opera in the 2020-2021 season. Previously, Catherine has appeared in young artist programs with Opera Columbus (2019-2020), Des Moines Metro Opera (2018, 2019), and Virginia Opera (2018-2019).

Merola Grand Finale

Catherine appears in the Merola Grand Finale, presented by Merola Opera Program. She will be singing excerpts from Der Rosenkavalier (Sophie), Rigoletto (Gilda), and Don Giovanni (Zerlina).
Back Home: Through the Stage Door
Singing the Lady with a Hand Mirror aria from Argento's Postcard from Morocco, Catherine makes her film debut in Bach Home: Through the Stage Door as part of Merola Opera Program's 2021 season. Streaming online starting August 27, 2021.
Catherine joins Kentucky Opera once again as a member of the Barbara and Halsey Sandford Studio Artist Program for the 2021-2022 season. Performances included a role debut as Amore (Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice).
