Praised for her “sparkling soprano” and commanding stage presence (Greater Lansing Ubiquitous Theatre), coloratura soprano Catherine Goode joins the Merola Opera Program and Kentucky Opera in the 2020-2021 season. Previously, Catherine has appeared with Opera in the Heights and in young artist programs with Opera Columbus (2019-2020), Des Moines Metro Opera (2018, 2019), and Virginia Opera (2018-2019).

Houston G&S Society Career Grant Competition
January 2021
Catherine has been named one of ten finalists for the Houston Gilbert & Sullivan Society's Career Grant Competition. The competition will take place in Houston on Saturday, January 30, and will be live-streamed.
Kentucky Opera
2020-2021
Catherine joins Kentucky Opera as a member of the Barbara and Halsey Sandford Studio Artist Program for the 2020-2021 season. Performances would have included role debuts as Dew Fairy (Hansel and Gretel) and Amore (Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice).
Merola Opera Program
POSTPONED TO 2021
Catherine has been selected as one of 29 young artists to participate in the 2020 (postponed to 2021) Merola Opera Program. She will be performing the role of Lady with a Hand Mirror (Postcard from Morroco) and covering the role of Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro).
